Chennai - On February 20-22, railway and ITS experts from around India and surrounding marketplaces will gather for the 2nd Annual Metro Rail in Chennai, India. The Summit will bring together select private sector solution providers along with high-level representatives from federal, state, and city ministries and municipal authorities charged with evaluation, upgrading, and exchanging best practices on railway and other transportation technology and infrastructure issues affecting the Indian marketplace.
India is expected to spend approximately USD $40 Billion in metro rail over the next 10 years in order to make metro systems more reliable, comfortable, and safe.
AGT International, as an event Knowledge Partner, will be taking a leading role at the Summit – including a featured keynote speech by AGT executive David Gorshkov who will play this thought leadership role as part of the event’s plenary session speaking on the topic of “Advances in Multi-Modal Operational Control Centre Integrated software systems: A Review of the Latest Developments in Bringing Together Key OCC Systems Using a Standardized Integrated Software Architecture.” The speech will cover crucial safety and security issues concerning India’s transportation industry, such as the use of control room technology to integrate current disparate systems; the development of information based services into the control room; and advanced features for detecting potential operational and security threats.
